The state Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology, Dr. Shehus Adamu expressed his concern while speaking to newsmen in Kaduna yesterday. continue...........
Adamu appealed to parents to ensure that children stay back in school after their free meal, so as not to jeopardize the programme. The commissioner stressed that the programme was introduced in order to encourage school enrollment, attendance and retention.
The students excuse themselves saying they are going to get water after meals and that's the last you see of them in that day.
